In Varenna, on the eastern shore of Lake Como, Villa Monastero began life as a 12th-century convent before becoming a noble residence. Today its gardens stretch for almost two kilometres along the water.
You exchange vows on the villa’s balcony over the lake, framed by marble columns and arches. Then your portraits in the gardens, followed by a private boat tour on the lake.
