This policy explains the cookies and similar tools used on www.somewherecrazy.com by SomewhereCrazy OÜ ("Somewhere Crazy", "we", "us"). Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. We also use similar tools, such as small pieces of code ("tags" or "pixels") that tell an analytics or ad service you visited a page.
What you see depends on where you are when you visit:
EU/EEA, UK, Switzerland, Quebec, or if we can't tell where you are: we ask first. Only essential cookies are used until you press Accept. Decline is as easy as Accept.
Canada outside Quebec, Australia and the rest of the world: we show a notice. Analytics and advertising cookies run from the start; Decline turns them off.
United States: analytics and advertising cookies run. You can turn them off at any time through Cookie settings.

Essential (always on)
Your cookie choice (sc-consent): remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we don't ask again. Kept for 6 months.
Cloudflare: hosts and protects the website, and may set a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots.
Cookie-free statistics
Cloudflare Web Analytics: counts visits and pages viewed, without cookies and without following you across sites.
Analytics
Google Analytics (through Google Tag Manager): how many people visit, which pages they read and how they found us. Cookies kept for up to 2 years.
Ahrefs and Metricool: website and social media statistics.
Advertising and marketing
Where you came from (sc-touch): if you arrive from one of our ads or another website, remembers which one for up to 12 months (the first ad you came from, plus the sites or ads that brought you back) and sends it with your inquiry, so we know which ads bring couples to us. The Google click ID it holds is only used for 90 days. Follows the same rules as Google Ads below.
Google Ads: tells us which of our Google ads led to an inquiry or a booked call, and lets us show our ads to people who visited. Cookies kept for up to 90 days.
ActiveCampaign: if you are in our contact list (for example after an inquiry), links your visits to your contact so we can follow up on what interests you.
Meta pixel: measures our Facebook and Instagram ads and lets us show them to people who visited. Cookies kept for up to 90 days.
Booking
Calendly: when you open our booking window, Calendly may set its own cookies to make the booking work. See Calendly's cookie notice.

We never sell your personal information. Some US state laws call advertising cookies "sharing"; Cookie settings and Global Privacy Control let you opt out.
