The Costa Brava is a remarkable elopement destination, celebrated for its dramatic coastline, Mediterranean gardens, and refined coastal architecture. With rugged cliffs dropping into turquoise waters and historic towns perched above the sea, the region feels both romantic and naturally elegant. Denise and Sam chose to exchange vows at the Marimurtra Botanical Gardens, a breathtaking setting where manicured terraces, exotic plants, and panoramic sea views create an intimate atmosphere suspended between sky and Mediterranean.
Denise & Sam’s story began in 2021 with a first message on Hinge that quickly turned into an effortless connection. Although they had attended the same university, shared mutual friends, and lived just minutes apart, their paths only crossed when the timing was right. Over the years, they built a life together through career changes, moving in together, and welcoming their rescue dog Leo into their family. Sam proposed in Honolulu, along the beach in Hawaii, and choosing to elope felt like a natural reflection of who they are: private, grounded, and intentional. Their Costa Brava ceremony allowed them to focus fully on each other, with plans to later celebrate with friends and family back home in Seattle.
