Position Overview

The Event Planner & Sales Specialist will play a key role in our small but dynamic team, responsible for planning, sales, and client support. This role requires someone who is equally comfortable handling sales calls and contracts as they are with vendor management, client communication, and event logistics.

You’ll be working on multiple destinations in Europe, collaborating with both international couples and local vendors.

This role is for someone who loves weddings, loves people, and loves to keep things beautifully organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate elopements across Europe: venues, vendors, logistics, budgets, and timelines.

  • Conduct sales calls in English, prepare contracts, and guide couples through booking.

  • Act as the main point of contact for couples during the planning process.

  • Manage vendor communication, contracts, invoices, and payments.

  • Collaborate closely with our team and bring ideas for new services and improvements.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in event planning, client management, or a related field.

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Comfortable with sales calls, contracts, and vendor negotiations.

  • Skilled in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar, Gmail).

  • Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp is a plus.

  • Knowledge of invoicing and payments is valued.

  • Bonus for experience with AI tools (ChatGPT, automation) or design tools (Canva, Squarespace, social media).

  • Excellent English required; Spanish or Italian is a plus.

Conditions

  • Commitment: Full-time (35–40 hours/week).

  • Contract: Independent contractor (Autónomo in Spain).

  • Workspace: Co-working space in central Barcelona.

  • Duration: 6-month engagement with the possibility of extension.

  • *Extension Possibility: An opportunity exists for an extension to a long-term position. This decision will be contingent upon various factors, including booking volumes, performance evaluations, and cost assessments.

  • Start Date: Immediate preferred.
